Simon called from Silverthorne at 7 p.m. Tuesday and said he had a tough time finding his way through Frisco. He was caught in a thunderstorm but said it was a refreshing change from the heat. He was planning to ride to Salida on Wednesday.Silverthorne is 2323 km into the race.
Salida is 187 km away with 2133 m climbing.

Way to go! I happen to be just on the other side of the Divide from you this week (in Crested Butte) and am completely amazed by the race course and your progress.
Keep it up, the end is (kinda) in sight.
