Day 13 Wednesday afternoon

From GDR blog:
Simon called from Salida at 5:50 p.m. and was planning to head up over Marshall Pass [3,291 m elevation]. "Hopefully the weather holds," he said. "It's a bit changeable at the moment, but that's cool; it reminds me of home."

Here's how Shona (Simon's mother-in-law) is tracking the race:

You're getting closer and closer to Jen, Simon. It looks like you're reeling in about 2 hours per 120 miles. Go fella, go!
